As someone who loves both fashion and writing, I feel I have a certain responsibility to myself to write down whenever I’m feeling fashionably inspired. I’ve kept a notes app running in my phone for a couple years now that I fondly refer to as my “Style Scribbles”. Basically, every now and again I’ll assess my style holistically. What trends did I especially love during the month, what styles am I particularly drawn towards, are there any specific style icons that I’m holding on a pedestal at that given moment? I find it helpful when curating my own looks to write everything down and see what exactly I gravitate towards. Since these scribbles have been in the works for the past couple years, it’s interesting to look back and see how my tastes have evolved and how this has impacted my own personal style. I try to draw inspiration from styles and looks that I’m particularly obsessed with – as we all should. I welcome you all to take a look at my innermost fashion ramblings, largely unedited. You’ve been warned.
